(goes toward current year SCRIP requirement) HRS SCRIP Program: (order form)Each school year parents are asked to help the school with fundraising by earning a profit of $150 through our SCRIP program. In addition to the Family Participation requirement, this SCRIP requirement is mandatory. (Spreadsheet calculator.) About SCRIP: (more information in the parent/student handbook) SCRIP is simply a word that means "substitute money" or "gift certificate" - in other words, SCRIP is gift certificates from national and local retailers. They're the same gift certificates that you buy at the store. Many popular retailers participate in our SCRIP program. Please take a look at our order form for a list of merchants. Due to the constant changing nature of SCRIP merchants, our order form is subject to change without notice. Unlike most fundraisers, families are not being asked to spend any additional money. They already know where they want to shop and for what, and when they buy a gift certificate for $100 they will receive the full $100 value. Holy Rosary School purchases SCRIP in large quantities and at a discount. Our school then sells these same gift certificates to our families and community members at face value. The difference between the discount rate and face value is the profit that a family earns for the school. As a result our school thrives, while many parents, families, and organizations continue to promote and support quality education, learning and performance as a means to develop life skills for work and personal success in our children. Available Paper SCRIP: See our order form. Available Electronic SCRIP (E-Scrip): We also have electronic SCRIP that does not appear on our order form. E-SCRIP is done electronically so we do not put it on our paper order form. If you would like more information regarding E-SCRIP, please contact the school office.
Other Fundraising:Holy Rosary School holds various fundraisers throughout the year to help offset rising costs of tuition and operation expenses. These fundraisers include our annual events such as: Fall Festival, Holiday Boutique, Fantasy Auction, Spirit Run, and more. They also include smaller fundraisers such as General Mills Box Tops, Campbells Labels for Education, Nugget receipts and more. Campbell's Soup Labels: (click here for product listing) Send in any Campbell's product labels and the school gets cash in return! The following brands can help our label drive all year, please save them: Campbells, Franco-American, Prego, Pepperidge Farm, Swanson broths, Pace, and V8 Juices. Thanks for your support! General Mills Box Tops for Education: click here for participating products- page 1, page 2 Send in any General Mills Box Tops labels and the school gets cash in return! Our Student Council helps to facilitate this fundraiser. Box Tops do not expire so you can even save them up during the summer time and turn them in during the school year. Just look for the label on the side of a participating General Mills product, clip it, and turn it in! |
