Parent Club Purpose & Council Members

Room Parents are an extension of the Parent Club committee. For a current listing of room parents, please contact the office. Please also review the HRS privacy policies.

• Encourage communication among the parents, families, school principal, faculty and staff.
• Provide financial support through fundraising activities.
• Enhance and encourage educational enrichment programs; and
• Enhance and encourage social interactions and a support system among school families.

Membership:
All parents or guardians of children enrolled at Holy Rosary Parish School are members of this club.

Meetings:
The Parents' Club meets monthly, September through November and January through May. As needed, the school principal or the Parents' Club Council, with the permission of the principal, may call additional meetings or cancel meeting during the year to provide program information, etc.

Room Parents

Room parents are an extension of the HRS Parent Club committee. Parents who volunteer for these positions are given an automatic 35 hour volunteer credit because of the responsibilities they take on throughout the school year. Some of these responsibilities include but are not limited to: planning and following through with monthly teacher/staff luncheons, coordinating class auction projects, helping teachers with class projects, helping teachers coordinate feild trips, planning classroom events and parties, etc. Room parents should meet with the Parent Club and teacher at the beginning of year to define the class or school needs throughout the academic year.
